We are experiencing the century’s coronavirus pandemic and suffering from the significant impact of Covid-19 in our life.  Nevertheless, the news of the society’s 10 years anniversary is indeed exciting; which helps increase our confidence of fighting against the coronavirus.  Many congratulations to the International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE), we have just completed a 10-year milestone!  

10-year passed so fast; it looks just like yesterday, when we were gathering in Zhuhai at ICBE2010 to form the society. Over the past 10 years, I have witnessed the society’s development andsignificant achievements, which includesthe membership numbers, the success of JBE, and the increasing influence to wide range of communities. Today, bionic engineering has globalrecognition as an important scientific disciplinary, and the society has gained an excellent international reputation.  In addition, I am sure that our members would like to join me to take this opportunity of thanking Professor Luquan Ren and Professor Julian Vincent for their pioneer work and contributions to the society.

Finally, I am so proud of being a member of the ISBE family.  My personal academic progress that is not apart from the society is always benefited from the development of the society.I wish the society has more prosperous next 10 years, and many more years!
